Call for Papers

ICCES05-INDIA will be held in two parts:

1-6 December 2005, Main Conference
8-10 December 2005, Post-Conference Workshop

Past ICCES congresses have been highly successful scientific gatherings,  which brought together several hundreds of prominent researchers from all over the world, in very congenial social settings. The proceedings of these conferences have been included in prominent databases. Their scope has evolved to embrace both classical topics in mechanics, as well as emerging scientific and engineering disciplines, such as: nano-science & nano-technology; NEMS & MEMS; mechanics & chemistry of biosystems; micro-and nano-device modeling; multi-spatial & time-scale and multi-physics phenomena; functional and smart material systems; meshless (MLPG) and novel methods of computational modeling; novel material models such as gradient theories; novel experimental methods, etc. Recognizing the complementary roles of  the theory, modeling, and experimentation in engineering and the sciences, all the three areas of research will be  equally emphasized at ICCES.

The theme of ICCES05-India will be : Engineering & Its Interaction With the Sciences .

For the Main Conference in Hyderabad, papers are sought in ALL AREAS mentioned above, and more specifically listed under AIMS&SCOPE. Please click on  the button, Aims & Scope,  in the main menu at the home page: http://www.icces. org

The Post-Conference Workshop in Jaipur will focus on Multi-spatial&temporal-scale Phenomena in Engineering & the Sciences.

The Proceedings of ICCES05-INDIA ( the Main Conference as well the Post-Conference workshop) will be published in hard-cover as well as in CD-Rom, by Tech Sciennce Press, a publisher of advanced monographs and journals, with offices at several locations in the world. Authors are requested to DIRECTLY SUBMIT their papers at the PUBLISHERS' WEB-SITE:

http://submission.techscience.com/icces05

The papers will be reviewed by the ICCES05-O5 Scientific Committee, directly from this web-site, and decisions as to the ACCEPTANCE of papers for presentation at ICCES05 as well as for publication in the Proceedings, will be sent directly from the publishers' web-site. This will considerably simplify the procedures that were otherwise followed in earlier ICCES conferences.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS FOR ICCES05-INDIA ( Main Conference as well as the Post-Conference Workshop) is:

15 JULY 2005.

Journal publication of selected full (unlimited) length papers

Based on the review of the 6-page ICCES'05-INDIA proceedings papers, authors of certain selected papers will be invited to submit their full (unlimited) length papers for possible publication in one of the following journals:

CMES: Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences
CMC: Computers, Materials & Continua
MCB: Mechanics & Chemistry of Biosystems
SID: Structural Integrity & Durability

For further details on all these journals, please visit: http://www.techscience.com
