MAY 2005 BULLETIN
We request you to start planning your trip to India in December 2005, to participate in ICCES05 to be held in Chennai during 1-6 December, with a Post-Conference Workshop in Jaipur during 8-10 December.

and click on the button “HOTEL INFORMATION”, in the menu on the left on the homepage, to find the details on Hotels in Chennai & Jaipur, details on cultural programs, and details on sightseeing tours.
An adequate number of rooms has been reserved at: Le Royal Meridien, Park Sheraton, The Park, Ceebros, Hilton, and the Radisson hotels in Chennai, and at: Le Royal Meridien, and the Rajputhana Palace Sheraton in Jaipur. All these hotels, in general, far exceed the international norms for service, comfort, and luxury.
Please note that these specially negotiated hotel prices, exclusively for ICCES participants, are quoted per room per night ( single or double occupancy), and include: 1. all applicable taxes ( about 20%); 2. breakfast; 3. transportation from the Chennai Airport to the respective hotel, and back; 4. transportation from the hotel to the ICCES Conference venue ( IIT-Madras) and back, each day; and 5. transportation from the hotel to the banquet venue and back, each night.
Please also note that the Conference Registration fees paid by the participants and their guests cover: 2 refreshment breaks on each day of the conference, except on Sunday, 4 December; lunch on each day, except 4 December; banquets on each of the 6 nights, 1-6 December; and cultural programs on each of the 6 nights, 1-6 December.
The venues of the cultural programs in Chennai will be: Le Royal Meridien, Park Sheraton, Radisson Beach Resort, and the Taj Coramandel hotels. On Sunday, 4 December, there will be an excursion to Mahabalipuram( see the April Bulletin), followed by dinner and a cultural event at the Radisson Beach Resort.
We strongly urge you to start making airline reservations now, as December is a peak season for travel to India . Please note that Delta Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, and various European airlines, have direct flights to Chennai. Please visit various travel related websites, such as Orbitz, Travelocity, etc, for up-to-date information and prices.
